It feels nice to read nice things. Doesn’t it? Come on. Admit it. It does.

So, yeah. Looks like advertising on the computerwebz is like hyper-targeted. IF you’re watching a bubba sparxxx video in twenty-ten it means you’re probably hopped up on the drugz.
I’ve got to do some soul searching.

New Shit: Central African Republic singer, bassist and Selenites bandleader Bibi Tanga joined forces with Professeur Inlassable on new album Dunya, the latest release from this Parisian Funk group. He bridges the divide between the arty South Bank of the Seine and the gritty suburbs, where he grew up as an immigrant. Bibi’s music is marked by slinky, sinuous basslines and a wicked falsetto that conjures up Prince and Curtis Mayfield, while producer Professeur Inlassable (“The Tireless Professor”) digs deep beneath the cobblestones of Paris to unearth the sound and spirit of another era. Together with Bibi’s band The Selenites, the duo forges a stunningly original new sound, and creates a space where Afro-futurism meets steampunk, Fela Kuti jams with Sidney Bechet, and Marcel Duchamp gets down to Chic.

Had music burn out. Then I listened to this. Refreshing AND catchy. Saved! For now, at least.

"did i tell you that when i die i am sacrificing my body to a polar bear?"

So, like, does that mean that, like, after leaving England’s oppressive and poorly managed Monarchy, and like, after setting up laws to ensure that we would never have to endure a Monarchic government, we, like, have been living under some sort of twisted version of a monarchy for as long as this country has been around?

Is this why nothing ever changes in America?

I need a drink.
